Ever since the elections, I've been feeling really mellow towards politics and religion.

I've identified as a centrist. Agreeing with some parts of both democrats and republicans. And even the most stubborn conservative or the wussiest liberal will upset me very little. I feel I've reached a stage of common sense.

As for religion, I'm still an atheist. But I can now easily coexist with people of other faiths. I suggest they do the same. I no longer see religion as a senseless excuse for people to kill each other, but now a more optimistic view of them is just a fun way to make the world seem exciting. Like watching Supernatural, or reading The Odyssey.

Coexist. Live and let live. Don't waste your time on differences and instead find common ground. We all exist in the same universe whatever the means, so we might as well make the best of everything and everyone we're given.

I would have this view on religion if they were not blocking education and rights. The Christians that are intelligent and open minded are far and between sadly. :S
